Singletick is an app from Jules HQ, built so that your content never leaves your phone in a form anyone but you can read. Because of that, deleting your data is mostly something you do directly on your device — instantly, without asking anyone. Singletick has no account and no sign-up, so there is no account to close.
1. Delete your content (everything you created)
Your habits, todos, notes, pledges, mood entries, and focus sessions live only on your device, encrypted under a key derived from your passphrase. To erase all of it:
- In the app: open the Profile tab → Settings, scroll to the Danger section, and tap Delete All My Data. (The same option also lives under Profile → Security → Danger Zone.) You confirm by typing DELETE and re-entering your passphrase. This permanently erases every entry, setting, and encryption key from your device and cannot be undone.
- Or simply uninstall Singletick. Removing the app deletes all local data and the encryption keys with it.
2. Delete your cloud backups
If you are a Pro subscriber and turned on encrypted backup, a single encrypted blob may sit in your own Google Drive (a hidden, app-only folder) or your own iCloud private container. To remove it:
- In the app: open Profile → Settings → Backup (a Pro feature), then in Backup history tap the delete icon on a backup to remove its cloud copy. Repeat for any others; your local data is left untouched.
- You can also delete the file directly from your own Google Drive or iCloud account.
3. Delete the limited diagnostic & subscription data we collect
Singletick collects a small amount of anonymous operational data — named app-analytics events with no content, crash reports, and (for Pro subscribers) an anonymous subscription identifier. None of it contains your habits, notes, free-form text, name, or email. To request deletion of this data, email hello@juleshq.co with the subject "Singletick data deletion". We action requests within 30 days.
4. What is deleted, and what is kept
- Deleted by you, immediately: all on-device content (Profile → Settings → Danger → Delete All My Data, or uninstall); all cloud backups (Profile → Settings → Backup → delete each backup).
- Deleted on request: anonymous analytics events, crash reports, and the anonymous subscription identifier — removed from our processors on request to hello@juleshq.co.
- Retention: until you act, on-device content stays on your device and backups stay in your own cloud. Anonymous analytics and crash logs are retained by our processors (Google Firebase) under their default retention windows before automatic deletion. Anonymous subscription records may be retained where required for tax and accounting obligations. None of this data can identify you or reveal your content.
