The manifesto

Software should respect the person using it.

Jules HQ exists because most apps quietly treat you as the product — harvesting data, demanding accounts, and competing for your attention. We build the opposite. Here’s what that means in practice.

01

On-device by default

Your data lives on your phone, encrypted at rest. We build apps that work fully offline — no servers in the loop, nothing to breach, nothing to subpoena.

02

No accounts, no friction

You should be able to open an app and use it. No sign-up wall, no email, no password to forget. Identity is a feature you opt into, never a tax you pay up front.

03

Attention is yours

No engagement traps, no manufactured streak-anxiety, no notifications designed to pull you back. A good tool gets out of the way when you’re done.

04

Honest about data

When an app does touch the network, we say exactly why, in plain language. The default answer is “it doesn’t.” The privacy page on every app is the real thing, not legal cover.

05

Built one at a time, properly

We’d rather ship one app we’re proud of than ten we’re not. Small, considered, finished. Quality over a crowded portfolio.

That’s the whole pitch. If it resonates, the best place to start is Singletick — our first app, live today.
